This was a fantastic meal for a perfect day of windjammer sailing. The hip hop dance moves with oven mitts in a tiny galley….what a great image! Windjammer cooking is a happy, yummy thing indeed.

I have fond memories of my cruise on Heritage in 1995. Captain Linda cooked some fantastic meals. I loved having my morning coffee in the galley and helping to prepare the vegetables for the day. It was a wonderful week. I am copying the recipe. My beloved Mother was from Eastport and made the best fish chowder. Thank you for bringing back some great memories for me.
