Deal Alert: 3 for 2 and wine, too

From January through April (excluding Feb. 14-24) you can stay three consecutive nights at the Captain Lord Mansion, in Kennebunkport,for the price of two. The package is valid any night, but tit can’t be combined with “any other discounts, coupons, the $179 net priced rooms, or third-party gift cards.” Can’t sneak away for three nights? The inn is also offering 10 percent savings for two-night reservations January through April (excluding Feb. 17-20).

Now on to the wine. The 2013 First Saturday Wine Tastings at the Capt. Lord are slated for Jan. 5, Feb. 2, March 2, Apr. 6, and May 4. Each tasting will feature specific wines from a chosen region and notes and other handouts will be provided. Tastings are free for inn guests. Wines from each tasting will be available at the innkeepers’ cost during the weekend.
