Whoops, I almost missed this one. More than three dozen artists and artisans are participating in The Artists of St. George Open Studio Tour this weekend, from 9-5 daily. You can pick up a map and guide at local businesses on the St. George Peninsula, or just wing it and noodle the down Route 131 from Thomaston to Port Clyde, and around the backroads and byways. You’ll find painters, sculptors, illustrators, a furniture maker, rug hooker, basket maker, even a violin maker. Don’t miss a detour out to Marshall Point Light and its museum.
